The North East Wildlife & Animal Rescue Centre is a small independent Charity, based just outside Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
We are a sanctuary and haven for many unwanted, abused and abandoned pets, including horses, goats, pigs, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, hens and ducks. Our particular interest is in wildlife rehabilitation, and we have many years experience in hand-rearing orphan birds, and dealing with orphaned and injured mammals.
For more information, including what we do, where we are, and how to contact us, please visit our about page.
Today Augusta our fox cub who arrived at the centre in August after being hit by a car was released back to her home range. Its always great to see successes like these when they arrived in such a bad state. 🦊🦊🦊 ...
“Keith & Pauline Marley have received IFAW’s Wildlife Rescue #AnimalActionAward for caring for an estimated 15,000 animals over the past 13 and a half years. They care for a minimum of 500 animals and birds at the centre at any one time, often rising to 750 during busy periods.”
Following the demise of our little white van we appealed for help. Lots of people suggested ideas, but sadly there were no takers. That is until Jim Reid of ‘Jim Reid Vehicle Sales’ in Kintore, stepped up to help. We secured an excellent deal where we are confident we will be well looked after by an excellent back up team. Jim has been very helpful and we appreciate his assistance. A big thank you to Dan Smith of KSR designs limited who provided free of charge the signage for our wildlife ambulance. ...
We are delighted to announce that on Tuesday 15th October, Keith and Pauline will be going to London to the House of Lords, to receive the IFAW 2019 Wildlife Rescue Award, presented by the wonderful Bill Oddie
We cannot tell you how proud and honoured we are to be receiving this award, on behalf of The New Arc team. This is wonderful for the Charity and a real recognition of the hard work we have all put in for the past 14 years

Over the past seven years our ‘wee white van’ has been responsible for rescuing and releasing thousands of wildlife cases all over Scotland.... it has been a vital member of our team, but time has taken its toll and we are now in desperate need of a new ‘work horse’ which can help us to continue our work .
We are hoping that some caring company out there will seize the opportunity to assist our native wildlife! The new vehicle will travel extensively throughout the North of Scotland and with a customised livery will not only be highly visible on the road but share in our media coverage in local and national press and television.
If you are interested in being associated with one of Scotland’s most successful & respected wildlife rescues and want to find out more, please feel free to message us here on face-book, e-mail us on ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ or simply give us a call on 0796 2253867.
